In this test, i tried to convert 16 bits "Hello World" assembly program to 8086 machine code manually using a hex editor :)

Note 1: target OS: DOS (.COM extension)

Note 2: the use of "org 100h" presumes the address where the program will be loaded, so i set up my hex editor to start at address (offset) 00100h.

Note 3: the hex editor used in this video was written from scratch in java and it's available here:
