This tutorial shows how to add Basic Authentication to a Dropwizard project. Discussion pertains to 0.8.x version of Dropwizard. It is shown how to add and register the class implementing Authenticator interface to a Dropwizard project as well as how to instruct Dropwizard to prompt a user to enter credentials when accessing a resource.
