A simple library for programmatically simulating keyboard keystrokes has been created, described in detail, and demonstrated.
The initial goal was to use the keyboard as an output device.
Such capabilities can only be achieved using the Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock indicators.
We decided to control these indicators by simulating the corresponding keystrokes, which ultimately led to the creation of a simple library capable of simulating most keyboard keystrokes and some key combinations.
This library relies on User32.dll, making it small. It's essentially just a wrapper for it. However, it has all the properties of larger libraries, so the video can serve as a guide for writing your own libraries.
The library itself and the application for programmatically controlling the keyboard indicators are demonstrated in detail.
