This is a tutorial about convolution in signal processing, which is the method to find the response of a linear, time invariant (LTI) system to an arbitrary input. I first discuss the impulse response of an LTI system. Then, I derive the convolution definition using an example. Finally, I show an example of computing the convolution mathematically.
