Developing android app using java8 features. Using lambda expressions and method references. using jack compiler is android.
This video shows how to use java8 and how to configure java8 into android application. Java8 support Default and static interface methods, Lambda expressions,Repeatable annotations, Method References and Type Annotations. In order to use Java 8 language features, you need to also use the Jack toolchain. This Android toolchain compiles Java language sources into Android-readable DEX bytecode, has its own .jack library format.
