This is the second video in the java programming series.
It covers java features such as

Simple: Java is a simple programming language to learn. Easy to learn even school going students can learn java. The syntax is simply based on C++, clean, and easy to understand.
Most of the complex and confusing features/concepts are removed. Explicit Pointers,
Multiple inheritance removed. Auto memory management & Automatic Garbage Collection

Object-oriented Programming Language: Java is 100% programming language. java organizes software as a collection of a real-world entity. Everything in Java is an object.

Two-Stage / Interpreted Programming Language: Each java source code is first compiled get converted in byte code then interpreted and then converted into a machine-understandable form

Platform independent: Java is different than any other programming language which is when get compiled convert source code to particular OS understandable code.
Means program executed on one OS can not execute on other machines without modification.
This is not the case with java. Once a java program is written it can execute on any machine happily

Architecture Neutral: Java does not depend upon under laying machine architecture. Changes or up-gradation in OS, Processor, system resources does not force any changes in java program

Portable: We can migrate java byte code easily from one platform to another platform easily. There is no need to change in java program.
