JS introduced in 1995 as scripting lanaguage for web , means we can exicute code in side the browser

later in 2009 with the help of Node.js we are able to exicute js on server also

then it became a unique programming lanaguage that we can exicute both at client side and server side

later we got many libraries and frameworks with the Single Page Application concept on top of javascript like
( angular , react and vue.js ) and server side ( express js )

now js is the most popular , and powerful progamming language to create web applications and mobile applications, create servers with the help of node.js , and desktop applications also ..
