Problems with Gitignore
So you added a .gitignore file to your Git-tracked project, but it's somehow not working. The files are not being ignored.
This is most likely because you added the .gitignore file AFTER you staged and committed your files and folders.
You should always add that .gitignore file before staging. So what can you do about it if you already have commits.
