Using GitHub Search API to Find Winners!
The time has come to pick the winners of our Kotlin Care Packages! In December, we ran a giveaway for participants in our “Advent of Code in Kotlin” campaign. Join Sebastian ( / sebi_io ) in his quest to get the (more than 1600) participants out of the GitHub API. Watch him fight rate limits, pagination, and show off the powers of Ktor (https://ktor.io/), kotlinx.serialization (https://github.com/Kotlin/kotlinx.ser...) and Kotlin to write a quick script that extracts exactly the information we need from GitHub’s REST API (https://docs.github.com/en/rest/refer...) to make sure everyone gets their presents!
