*Depth Parameter*:
The depth parameter can be used to stop the recursion at a specific level. For example, in Chess you may only be able to go 3 or 5 moves ahead before your algorithm begins taking too long. This is due to the amount of possibilities in Chess. For a small game like Tic-Tac-Toe, you can look through all of the possibilities without a noticeable performance hit.
