Discord Bot Tutorial Python Nextcord | Setting Up | Part 1
Do you want to make a discord bot using python? In this video series, I'll be teaching you exactly that and it's going to be really easy and really fun! We'll be using Nextcord, a new python module that can help us conveniently code our bot by using the discord API with python. For this video, we'll be setting up our bot on the discord developer portal and be making a basic hello command, but in the next video we'll do something more fun! (hint: dog related things) I'll be uploading a new video soon (2 days), so make sure you subscribe so that you don't miss out!
Discord.py is currently depricated, but nextcord is a stable fork of discord.py so that's why we'll be using it as an alternative in this video series (2021)
