Vectorize and Cythonize to make your Python code run faster
Python is a convenient scripting language but because it is interpreted, its execution efficiency is often problematic for scientific computing. This lecture demonstrates vectorization and the application of Cython to make a Python function run faster. In the case of the example used in this demonstration, speedups of 100 times were achieved.
