R Programming for Beginners - Tutorial 2: Objects and Numeric Data
In this video I will take you through what objects are and how to assign them. We will also look at data types - starting with numeric data. Objects and data types are fundamental to many programming languages and will form the building blocks for the rest of this R programming series.
R is a free and open source object-oriented programming language. Its used by data analysts and data scientists for a vast range of tasks, from simple data visualisation all the way up to machine learning. This series is for anyone who is entirely new to programming, or just new to R as a language and wants to learn the fundamentals.
