How to conduct a Mann-Whitney U test in Python.
Mann-Whitney U tests are utilized for comparison of two groups on an ordinal variable, similar to an Independent Samples t-Test. This video demonstrates what type of variables are relevant for the Mann-Whitney U test using a dataset derived from a survey instrument. The survey instrument is presented showing the items measuring the variables for the test. The dataset is shown within the statistical program being used for the test. The procedures for test are demonstrated. The output for the test is described.
