Machine Learning: SVM, accuracy evaluation with accuracy in Python
This video presents a practical exercise to advance in machine learning. We use a dataset consisting of two insect classes (grasshoppers and cicadas) and demonstrate how to classify them using abdomen and antenna measurements. The video explains the training and prediction stages in machine learning, shows how to load the data using the pandas library, and how to split datasets into training and test sets. A support vector machine classifier is also used to train the model. The video provides code examples, and a development notebook is shared so viewers can follow along.
