In this 2nd Rust tutorial I introduce cargo and crates ➡️ https://crates.io
Cargo is Rust's build system and package manager. It is essential you have an understanding of some of the cargo commands if you are going to write Rust code.
In this session I cover some of the basic commands to create a new project, how to install some dependancies using both the Cargo.toml file and also using the cargo add command.
I then install some dependencies for AWS to show how cargo will install our dependencies.
Finally I cover the difference between cargo build and cargo build --release and how to choose between them.
