What is cloud computing

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of compute power, database, storage, applications, and other IT resources via the internet, without direct active management by the user.

"Cloud computing" was popularized with Amazon.com releasing its Elastic Compute Cloud product in 2006, references to the phrase "cloud computing" appeared as early as 1996.

Cloud computing allows companies to avoid or minimize up-front IT infrastructure costs and boost adoption of agility through CI/CD(i.e. DevOps
