OBS Studio Virtual Camera Fractal-Style Effects
My first attempt at a sort of tutorial for OBS Studio! Yes, today, I, a Nerdy Rodent, play with OBS Studio, strawberries and a plugin called VirtualCam. You can then use this as your camera in things like StreamYards and other conferencing software.
In this quick video I show you some of the mind-altering scenes I've created already, then give you a quick tutorial on how you can make some of your own. I know, I have a kindness inside me. Somewhere (deeply hidden).
DARE: Try swapping the example strawberry for a live video camera feed of yourself dancing to Pink Floyd (or whatever your favourite music is). Record it, upload it to YouTube and put your video link in the comments section below.

Ps. Adding shaders to the virtual cameras makes some really funky effects!
Pps. Try adding render delays for time-tunnel echo effects :)
(update) OBS Studio 24.03 no longer has a CPU use problem when VirtualCam is Off! Yay :)
