A broad introduction to structured binary files and, specifically, the Portable Executable (PE) binary file format (EXEs, DLLs, etc). Very few software developers delve into understanding the structured binary files they work with on a daily basis despite being able to do very interesting things with them. In this video, you'll learn key concepts of binary file storage and the types of information, software, and tools you'll need to look for and use to more readily access and understand any given structured binary file format.
