How do you format a date in JavaScript?
The date prototype contains several methods for formatting dates including toLocaleDateString(), toLocaleTimeString(), and toLocaleString(). Each of these methods have their own default behavior, but they can be overridden by passing parameters for locale and options. The locale specifies which language to use as well as country specific formats. The options parameter specifies how you want to display the day, month, year, hour, minute, time zone and more.
The best way to learn how to use this is to read the documentation to learn about different options and to experiment with your own code.
