AdOptimizer Review & Tutorial: Decrease ad costs with Artificial Intelligence
2 Tacos at best given what I have seen. Get it here yourself to test, at $49 for a lifetime deal - worth the risk.
Notes:
I am an agency owner who manages Facebook and Adwords accounts.
I actively use AdEspresso to optimize Facebook accounts currently.
I am ok with the purchase to see where it goes, not sure it is worth stacking for me
PROS:
1) Fast support
2) Good onboarding
3) It pulls interesting information like the best colors, faces vs no faces, videos vs no videos, information on your campaigns. Interesting.
4) Deal stacking
CONS:
1) Claims "Create several ad variations in seconds" not as much. If you know what you are doing 5-10 minutes minimum plus glitches.
2) I find the 'Up to 5,000 a month ad spend' a month to be very limiting even just for one business much less agency.
3) "Use your own ad accounts" - um....who else would we use? I get the AppSumo includes your own accounts, but say you didn't get AppSumo....where and whose accounts would your ads be under? Weird.
4) If your an Agency owner, beware, when you try to connect to a client they will send a request to your client asking for admin access vs. working through your normal MCC account. Not acceptable what so ever. Even as a business owner, there is so much brand confusion with emails about access under a different name.
5) No Processing fee? For what??
6) $300 PLUS minimum on spend for each campaign to optimize the algorithm. Eh...especially on Facebook this is overboard.
7) I created an ad with video...so much confusion trying to 'import' one from facebook and no ability to just upload it. I had to go to facebook, share it, then come back and reset to get it.
8) Same video ad...compared to nothing, only set up one, and then it tells me it will optimize and test....test and optimize what? Audience was set, no video, headline, or text comparison.
9) Existing campaigns not created by adOptimizer cannot be imported or tested or even audited or started and put through the optimizer.
10) No overall campaign dashboard showing all campaigns
11) No discount if you upgrade
Ultimately, my video review turned out to be a comparison to Adespresso and how awesome it is compared to this product.
After avoiding the deal after the reviews debacle I decided to give it a crack. I am not a Freelancer so this tool is used in-house for one of our companies.
