AWS updated the CLI version 2 which has no software level dependency, unlike its predecessor. A step by step guide to install AWS CLI in MAC based OS and configure it using access key security credential of a particular user.

Security Warning: If you share your key with anyone, means you are allowing access of your account, so try not to share it, if someone needs access to AWS account, create a user for that person and ask him/her to create a key for their usage and also never store this key in the central common repository as it would lead to a security breach of your account
