Implementing Custom AlerDialog with Custom Layout Using Android java
Steps:
1:Create a custom layout XML file:
The above layout I have created ALready, so dont need to create
2:Create a custom AlertDialog in your Java code:
A:Create an AlertDialog.Builder:This builder is used to configure and create your custom AlertDialog.
AlertDialog.Builder builder = new AlertDialog.Builder(this);
B:Get the layout inflater:
LayoutInflater inflater = getLayoutInflater();
This line obtains a LayoutInflater instance from your activity or context
C:Inflate the custom layout:
View dialogView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.custom_alert_dialog, null);
Use the inflater to inflate your custom XML layout file, which you created earlier, and store it in a View:
D:Get references to views within the custom layout:
EditText customInput = dialogView.findViewById(R.id.custom_input);
Button customOkButton = dialogView.findViewById(R.id.custom_ok_button);
E:Define the behavior for the "OK" button:
F:set view in the builder
builder.setView(dialogView);
J:Create and show the AlertDialog:After configuring the custom AlertDialog, you can create it and display it to the user:
alertDialog = builder.create();
alertDialog.show();
Now I have created the dialog I want to show it
So We need another variable Called AlerDialog
