The video introduces a number of dimensions about a browser window. clientWidth and clientHeight give us the size of the browser window. pageXOffset and pageYOffset (or scrollX and scrollY) give us the size scrolled relative to the browser window.
We can achieve scrolling by using some built-in functions. The scrollTo function moves the web page to the given absolute coordinates relative to the document's top-left corner. The scrollBy function moves the web page by the given coordinates relative to the current position. The scrollIntoView function help us to scroll to the top or the bottom of a DOM element. Finally, we can also lock or unlock scrolling.
