Installing nodeJS for JavaScript (aka ES6 / ECMAscript) - ML Research Project DevLog - [Setting up]

This is just a quick video to show you how to install nodejs if you haven't worked with javascript (aka ES6 aka ECMAscript) before. Node is going to be useful for the frameworks I'm going to use as well as some serverside rendering for demonstrations of concepts like React framework which I use to demo components' render cycles and pitfalls of infinite loops when we're not careful.

I've already recorded that one so it should be coming out shortly after this one. As I noted before I'll be doing a lot of prototyping in javascript just because it's quick and easy to use on the go and as a bounce around different computers. The machine learning framework I'll be using for this project (tensorFlow) works in both javascript and python but Blender (3D modelling software) only works with python so I'll be using both.

Anyway, this video is just to save you some time having to bounce around in different websites and videos just trying to get set up. It's quick and easy so hopefully it's helpful. I'll show you how to install node, check the version, start a session and how to close it when you're done to return to the terminal. Easy Peezy.
