Windows 98: installing missing features
Adding to the #Windows98 Gericom laptop all sorts of missing #features — e.g. from networking over the Windows Calculator, to the System Monitor, Hyperterminal, and perhaps most importantly, Microsoft #Paint. An endeavor not without adventure, not without Bluescreen, honoring the tradition of missing DLLs and conflicting languages (German Win98 operating system, English CD-ROM for the features). And yet it benumbs my wit… What brute, uncouth barbarian EVER owned a Windows 98 machine without PAINT?!
