Synth - DrumComputer Tutorial
We begin the series with a rundown of the 3-layer synth engine and how it can be used to design, shape and sculpt powerful drum hits. From crisp electronic snares, to chunky analogue kicks, the Resonator, Wavetable and Resynth engines offer a huge range of specialized parameters to craft stylish synthesized drum sounds.
We also look at the Resynth's ability to not just generate drums, but chords and synths as well using its noise table conversion technology, followed by an explanation of the filter, distortion and side chain compressor.
Finally, we dive into DrumComputer's in depth modulation area, with envelopes, LFOs, and a complex modulation matrix, letting us change most parameters using a wide array of sources.
