Modifying Pliers to Avoid Gouges | Jewellery Making Tutorials
If you're new to jewellery making, you might find that it's hard to get a fine finish to your work. The easiest way to get a perfect finish is not to put any tool marks on your metal in the first place. So in this short video, I'll show you super quickly how to modify a cheap pair of chain nose pliers to avoid getting nasty bite marks in your work.
I don't recommend spending a fortune on fancy pliers when just starting out. Cheap pliers will work perfectly well too.
