Using GitHub Actions to Deploy My Website To Google Cloud

In this video I will walk you through how I managed to deploy my website instantly using GitHub Actions to create a CI/CD workflow. In order to deploy my website instantly with GitHub Actions I needed to create two separate workflows. The first workflow deploys my frontend application to Google Cloud Storage. The second workflow deploys my backend API to Google Cloud Run through the use of Google Cloud Build for creating a docker container followed by storing it in a Google Cloud Container Registry instance. I was very impressed with how simple GitHub Actions were to implement, in total this took around 4 hours.
