In this JDBC tutorial for Beginners we will learn how to use the PreparedStatement. A PreparedStatement is an object that represents a precompiled SQL statement.

A SQL statement is precompiled and stored in a PreparedStatement object. This object can then be used to efficiently execute this statement multiple times.

A couple of advantages of the PreparedStatement
1. Faster execution (possibly) than the Statement
2. Prevents SQL Injection attacks
