CSS Variables (known officially as CSS custom properties) are a new way of declaring dynamic data inside of your CSS sheets, which can be then referenced throughout your CSS sheet, allowing for easily updating properties.

I'll show you a couple of tricks where you can use CSS variables in CSS functions, such as the calc() function, and how to also add the variables directly to the inline style tags!
