INTERACT - Tutorial 1 : Point Clouds
This is a tutorial to help you discover INTERACT and the way you can import point clouds, interact with them, simulate interferences and collisions (with CAD data).
Interact is a Unity plugin for creating advanced VR simulations directly from 3D data/CAD scan models. Its high accuracy physics engine provides complex simulations, including detection of rigid and flexible body collisions on CAD/Point Cloud, ergonomic analysis, point cloud visualization, on any VR configuration.
Timing:
(0:15) Create a new simulation
(01:22) Import Point Clouds
(02:10) Put the Point Clouds in place
(04:00) Tree server
(04:09) Center octree again
(09:29) Cut/crop Point Cloud
(15:20) Add Manipulators
(19:31) Move the robot
(21:30) Check intersections
