In this video, I show you two tools I use to navigate github code. How many times have you found yourself lost in an open source project's github code? For whatever reason, the github code is very hard to figure out and navigate. It could be the project's github code structure is confusing. Maybe the github code structure is too complicated. Whatever the reason, when you try to navigate github code, you always have difficulties finding what you are looking for.

The first tools I show you to navigate github code is called Octotree. Octotree is a cool browser extension for both Chrome and Edge that shows you a flyout that cotains a tree view of the entire project's github code layout and structure.

You can learn more about using Octotree to navigate github code using this link: https://www.octotree.io/

The second tool I show you to navigate github code is called github1s. GitHub1s is a free open source project that allows you to open any github repo in Visual Studio Code in the browser. Simply navigate to the github repo of your choice, and then change the URL "githum.com/yourProject" to "github1s.com/yourProject".
