Full form of HTTPS is Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secured. The website which is based on this protocol is in encrytion form. So, friends data which is present on this website is more secured. Friends you have notice that nowadays most of the websites are based on HTTPS.
For example - Banking websites, Education related websites, Business websites, Government websites, etc.
