First thing you need is a jailbroken apple device.
Second thing you need SMServer
What is an SMServer? It’s an app you can get on your Jailbroken device.
How to jailbreak your device?
You can use a software called checkra1n or any other method you are familiar with.
Check your device compatibility, some newer devices might not be jailbreakable just yet. Check online if your device is compatible.
For Arch users or any other arch based distros you can download checkra1n from an AUR by just typing: yay -S checkra1n-cli *note that if you want to download checkra1n with YAY you gonna have to enable yay. Alternatively you can get https://checkra.in/releases/0.12.4-be...
Once you have checkra1n connect your device to your computer and type: sudo checkra1n, type your password, and follow they instructions checkra1n provides.
Once your device boots up, download Cydia and add repository for SMServer.. https://repo.twickd.com/ another nice tool to have is backgrunner, this allows you to keep an app running in the background until you decide to terminate it. This will allow SMServer stay in the background until you decide to shut it and it wont close by itself. The source for it is this: https://udevsharold.github.io/repo/ I recommend you check GitHub page for SMServer to see what dependencies you need and how can you run SMServer in your terminal.
We are almost there! Now open SMServer, chose a password, and press run. On your computer, copy the link, type your password and now you have SMServer.
Things to note for those who have jailbroken their devices for the first time. If your device reboots or powers off, you will lose your jailbreak, you can mitigate that issue but I won’t get into it on this video.
