30 - 'Call by Assignment' in Python
Python uses a mechanism often referred to as "call by assignment". When a function is called, the references to objects are passed to the function. If the object is mutable (e.g., a list or dictionary), changes made to the object within the function are reflected outside the function. However, if the object is immutable (e.g., a tuple or integer), the changes made within the function do not affect the original object outside the function.
It's crucial to understand that the actual values of the arguments are not passed; rather, the references to objects are passed, and the behavior depends on mutability.
