In this video, I test whether it's true that "language speed doesn't matter" and that a Python web service supposedly works the same as a Rust one because "it all comes down to I/O."

I built two identical services:
Python: FastAPI + asyncpg + uvicorn (20 workers)
Rust: Axum + deadpool-postgres

Both versions have two handles: /hello (no database) and /orders (SELECT ... LIMIT/OFFSET for Postgres). Measuring with wrk
