CMS Tutorials: 2. Develop Transformations
In the first part of this three part series you have learned how to set-up a bespoke structured content model with the onion.net CMS. You have also created sample content that has been stored in the onion.net content repository as XML data.
This web development tutorial demonstrates how you pick XML data from the content repository and display it with any web browser. The component of the onion.net CMS that renders web pages is called onion.net Render Engine. The onion.net Render Engine is driven by XSL transformations, another standard by the W3C. See how you connect the content model with XSL transformations to get the desired output.
