Well, it lets you specify if specific conditions are met or not met with regards to your data set and then automatically formats cells accordingly. Pretty cool right? So let me show you some examples of when to use it before diving into how exactly it works behind the scenes and what each kind of switch can mean for your data set

It lets you compare two values and return a result based on which one comes first or has a certain value. It's perfect if there are multiple criteria that could be met, so today we're going to show you how to make an IF statement with this function in Excel.
