The Scanner class is a predefined class in Java, meaning it provides certain functions that we can use to read user input. To do this, we need to ensure three things: 1. We've imported the Scanner class, 2. We've created an object, and 3. We're using the correct "next" method in the code according to the data type we want to read. If you follow these three steps, you can easily read user input in Java.
