In this tutorial I have discussed how to create packages in java. I have used the eclipse IDE for java. I have created related classes in two different packages and then showed the concept of how to import packages in java. If you are using a class which in the same package than there is not need to import the class. If it is another package, then you must import that package. You can import all the classes in package using asterisk * or import a single class by using its name directly.

Then I have shown how the package structure is created on the operating system. How source file and class files are store in the different directory with the package structure we used in eclipse.
