Programming STEMbot1 Using Catroid
STEMbot1 is a simple Android/iPhone based robot you can build for less than $60.00.
Build instructions are available on Instructables.com. The robot uses two servos in a differential mode configuration. The servos are controlled by an EMGRobotics A2SCB_ML audio servo controller connected to the smartphone using a headphone jack. The A2SCB_ML is controlled by a sequence of tones. Catroid commands the A2SCB_ML by playing back pre-recorded WAV files.
