A CommandLine Tool for Renaming Xcode Projects
Renaming an Xcode project after it’s been created can be a real pain. From updating the bundle identifier, target names, entitlements, file structures, and folders—it’s easy to miss something.
In this video, I’ll walk you through a streamlined command line tool that simplifies the entire process. Originally a Swift script by Marko Tadić, I’ve turned it into an installable CLI tool called xprename to make renaming projects faster and more accessible. With just one command, you can rename your entire project, and I’ll show you exactly how it works, step-by-step.
