Introduction to React - Coding Tutorials by Umar Khan
Welcome to the Advanced Web Development Playlist!
In this first video, we will introduce React, one of several common JavaScript Frontend Frameworks. With React, you can create complex, highly maintainable, and dynamic websites much more quickly and reliably than you could using just HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
This video will cover Node.js - a JavaScript server environment - as well as how to build a React web application using reusable components. You will only build something on a small scale here, but in future videos, you will learn to build much more complex and useful applications.
And to preview this playlist, we will not only cover React, but (down the road) Next.js and CSS frameworks, too, such as Tailwind CSS, an atomic CSS framework. Eventually, you will use what we learn to build a full-stack web application (both frontend and backend) and deploy your web application to a production server.
