It is used to solve scientific or mathematical problems.

It provides great support along with a large collection of high-level mathematical functions.

Some of the known Scientific Languages :: MATLAB, ALGOL, FORTRAN
NumPy Installation:

Pip install numpy
Conda install numpy

What is the difference between array and list in python
There is only one difference that an array is data structure that stores values of same data types.
Whereas list contains different data types.
