Serverless Event-Driven architecture using AWS
In this video, I explain how to combine request-driven and event-driven architectures (synchronous and asynchronous communication) to store and display real-time time-stamped data from an IOT device on a front-end application.
I will explain and show two event publishing patterns, database-first and event-first, to get the data payloads stored in AWS DynamoDB and Amazon Kinesis Data Streams using Amazon API Gateway as a proxy.
And I will also explain how web sockets can be used to push events to the UI in real-time.
