MobiNetSim - Live mobile IP Simulation Tool using Python(Matplotlib , Python 3.x)
The Mobile IP Simulation Tool is an interactive educational project that demonstrates how Mobile IP (MIP) works when a device (Mobile Node) moves from one network to another while keeping its original IP address.
Mobile IP is essential because in traditional networking, a device’s IP address is tied to its current network. If the device moves to a new network, its IP changes, and existing connections are lost. This becomes a problem in real-life scenarios such as:
• A mobile phone moving between Wi-Fi networks.
• A laptop changing networks while attending an online meeting.
• IoT devices shifting across coverage zones.
