Stackathon Presentation: Lingoly
Preparing for a speech, presentation, oral exam, or job interview in a second language can be intimidating. Keziyah Lewis made Lingoly to help with key aspects of planning a speech in a foreign language, such as writing, editing, grammar correction, and pronunciation. The user can write their speech by talking, thanks to the Web Speech API. They can then edit their text and submit it for grammar correction using the LanguageTool.org API. Users also have access to a timer, an audio recorder, and a pronunciation dictionary courtesy of the Merriam-Webster Learners Dictionary API.
