✅ HTTP & HTTPS Flow
HTTP and HTTPS Flow refers to the process by which data is transmitted between a client (e.g., a web browser) and a web server. In HTTP, data is sent in plain text, making it vulnerable to interception. HTTPS adds a security layer using SSL/TLS encryption, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Understanding this flow helps identify weaknesses like insecure data transmission and facilitates better testing for vulnerabilities in web applications.
✅ cURL (Client URL)
cURL (Client URL) is a command-line tool used to transfer data to and from servers using various protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. It is widely used in web security testing to send requests, retrieve responses, and automate interactions with web applications. Understanding cURL helps in performing tasks like API testing, checking server responses, and identifying potential vulnerabilities in web systems.
