Hello guys , This video is about understanding the concept of command line arguments in shell scripting which is also known as the positional arguments and learning how to use positional arguments inside shell script . Along with that , understanding the shift command with examples. I had started with elaborating the meaning of command line arguments that are sent to executables .After that , I described the positional arguments for the shell scripting basically how we can send the command line arguments to our shell script and how we can access positional arguments inside the shell script . I also discussed about $@ , $* , $# and $0 along with command line arguments as $1 ,$2 , $3 etc . At the end , I explained the working of shift command with examples.
